Alumni honored with 'Veerta Padak'

Vidya Bharati alumni, Prakash Rathore, the brave police officer who killed half a dozen Naxalite commanders, has been awarded with the Gallantry Medal on August 15th, 2019.

Rathore, who is considered as an encounter specialist had fought with unmatched valor against the Naxalites for 18 hours, and killed several of them regardless of being wounded with a bullet in his shoulder in 2017.
