In an age where global youth is becoming more vocal in expressing their view point, the art of public speaking is an essential component in their depository. Research shows that youths from ages 9-17, involved in public speaking or any form of  illustrated talk showed marked improvement in their confidence, topic related knowledge, communication skills, goal setting, sense of organization and team work.

Keeping in mind the importance of public speaking in overall development of children, all Vidya Bharati schools encourage the same resulting in alumni who are confident to share their viewpoint in a public stage.

Pranav Dwivedi an alumnus of Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir, Mauranipur /Saraswati Vidya Inter college, Mauranipur, UP and  CA  final year student at prestigious ICAI, is a public spokesperson dedicated towards bringing positive changes via the platform.

Pranav comes from a distinguished family involved in community service. His father Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Dwivedi is an advocate and his grandfather was a Deputy Collector(retd.). From childhood he was never shy to put across his views and used his skills to win accolades in several public speaking competitions. Later on his passion led him to participate as political and social analyst in leading news channels like Zee news and News 18. He also received the opportunity to hold the position of head coordinator at National Conventions of ICAI.

Pranav always had the desire to help others and decided to start ‘Samvaad- A Dialogue’ to help students by teaching them the skill of public speaking. Through this organisation Pranav with the help of his like minded friends conducts school level seminars for students, where they provide career guidance, motivational speeches and teach students the art of public speaking.

Recently he had organized a seminar at Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Mauranipur auditorium on June 2018, where 150 students from classes  8th to 12th participated. Several renowned personalities like Mr. Vanya Singh (Deputy collector - Jhansi) shared their experiences with the students during the event.

Pranav says that he has to come this far in life due to the unwavering support of his family, who believes in his good work. He also thanks his school for giving him the opportunity to hone his skill, giving him confidence to take up public speaking. He further added that it was his school principal that inspired him to compete and win in public speaking competitions against participants who were much older to him.

His message to Vidya Bharati students is “do what you want in life but always remember to give back to society. Also never forget to show respect to others, especially your parents.”

Our country needs more youth like Pranav who are dedicated towards serving the society and can become role models for others.
