In a recent interview, Mr. Tikam Chand Jangid, resident of Nagaur, Jodhpur in Rajasthan, opened up about his experiences on running his own interior designing business in two cities. 

 

Mr. Tikam Chand Jangid started his primary education from a local school and later was admitted to Sharda Bal Niketan, Nagaur, where he studied from class 5 to 10. While studying he had already started to help his father in their family business. It was during this time that he had gone to Guwahati to meet one of his father’s clients and got admitted in NIID Guwahati, where he did a Diploma in Interior Designing.  Since 2015 he is successfully running his business in the field of Interior, home and textile designing with offices both in Guwahati and Nagur. His work often leads him to take up projects in different cities of Rajasthan.

 

While explaining about his work, Mr. Jangid stated that since his family had a background in the business of wood work, the subject of interior designing held special interest for him. He further stated that if someone is truly passionate about the subject, one can successfully establish in this field as it has a lot of scope.

 

Talking about his family, the resident of Nagaur stated that he comes from a business family and lives with his father, mother, brother, wife and three children.

 

When asked about his views on his childhood school, Mr. Jangid replied that it was his school that had prepared him to face all kinds of challenges by imbuing him with all basic knowledge that one needs to lead life from birth to death.

 

Before ending the conversation he wanted to send a message to all students, that they  should give highest priority towards developing good character and pleasant behaviour. They should respect their elders, teachers, parents and friends. He believes that to succeed in life, good, strong and honest character is essential.
