Prem Shankar Singh is an alumnus of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Barwat Sena Bettiah. He has fond memories of the school where he has studied from 1st to 12th standard. The days spent in the Vidya Bharati School are the finest years of his life.
“What I am today is because of my school”, mentions Prem, further adding that he got a great environment in his school. Every moment spent in the Saraswati Vidya Mandir has helped him to gain not on knowledge, but self-confidence.
“Although I was working in Gulf, I was always rooted to the culture of my country, which I have again learned from my school”, adds Prem.
After completing his 12th, Prem Shankar did a diploma in architecture. Initially he worked in a construction company in Noida. Then opportunities took him to Gulf where he worked in the Instrument Quality Check division in an Oil Refinery.
“This Covid pandemic compelled me to return to India leaving my job in the Gulf. And I feel, it only happened for good”, said Prem, who is now looking for a job in India, where he wants to use all his knowledge and experience he has gained from abroad.
Prem Shankar, the son of a retired police offer also gets associated with social service whenever possible. He, along with his friends have organized several community festivals to bring the community closer and fund-raising programs to help the needy.
