Interviewer: Please tell us something about yourself.

Mr. Pranay :  I am Pranay Manu and an alumnus of  Parwati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar Senior Secondary School, Durgapur. I joined the school in the 9th standard and studied there from 1999 to 2003. I did my B Tech in Computer Science from Graphic Era Institute of Technology, Dehradun and gained by LLB degree from Krishna college, Bijnor.

Presently I hold the position of  Principal and Director of RR Public School, Seohara road, Bijnor in UP. I have been associated with this school since 2007 and held the post of MD earlier. The school was founded by my father Dr. Manujendra Gupta, in memory of my grandfather, Late Shri Ram Rakshpal Gupta in the year 1997.

I am also associated with ‘Central Teacher Eligibility Test’, CBSE.

Interviewer: What influenced you to choose to study in a Vidya Bharati school?

Mr. Pranay :  My grandfather and as a result my father is immensely attached to Indian culture and a firm believer of ‘ sarbangiya vikas’ or all round development of the student. They believed that only Vidya Bharati schools can provide adequate education along with all round development, thus they got me admitted to Parwati Prema Jagati Saraswati Vihar Senior Secondary School.

Interviewer: What impact did Vidya Bharati have on your professional life?

Mr. Pranay : Whatever I am today, is all because of my school. Everything that I have learned from Vidya Bharati, I am trying to implement the same in my school as well.

I have seen first hand how the education system followed by Vidya Bharati schools leads to proper development of the students. I feel proud to see the students from my school doing so well, because we have incorporated several good systems in our school, that has been influenced by Vidya Bharati.

We give great importance to extracurricular activities and encourage our students to participate in different types of competitions. In fact our school ranked 1st (district level) in sports category. We also organize several sporting events and competitions. This month on 9th November’19 our school organised National table tennis competition, where Indian and international students participated. Our students have been performing excellently in academics as well. They have given 100% results for the past ten years.

Interviewer:  Who inspired you the most in your life?

Mr. Pranay :  The teachings and work of  Swami Vivekananda, motivates me greatly. His words helps me to constantly work for the betterment of the society without tiring. Apart from striving for the advancement of education, I have had the privilege to be associated with several social work as well, like tree plantation and organizing  ‘Save water campaign’ covering ten districts.

Interviewer:  Would you like to share any message with the Vidya Bharati community?

Mr. Pranay : My message to all students, would be - Always respect your teachers and parents. Also if you want to achieve success, always lead a disciplined life.

To all parents, my message would be - Try and understand the needs of your children. A child’s success doesn't always depend on good academic performance. Some are good at sports or other arts. Encourage their dreams and aspirations in life.
