In talks with Mr. Souradiptya Chakraborty, a successful businessman who is an alumni of Vidya Bharati school, Siliguri, North Bengal

Proprietor of one of the well-known businesses in Siliguri, ‘PC Traders & Sons’, Mr. Souradiptya Chakraborty has an experience of more than a decade in the sector. His academic journey started with Sarada Sishu Teertha, Suryasen Colony, where he completed his primary studies and then shifted to Sarada Vidya Mandir, Putimari.  

After completion of his schooling, he did his MFA (Master in Fine Arts) from Calcutta University and MBA Management at Meerut University. On completion of his studies, Mr Chakraborty had worked as Regional Sales Manager at Coca Cola and Sales Team Leader at Eureka Forbes, before starting his own business.

His company, P. C. Traders & Sons (http://www.pctsons.in/), which was established in 2008, deals with manufacturing and supplying of Uniforms such as Hospital Staff Uniforms, Hospital Nurses Uniforms, Army Uniform, School Uniform, etc. in Siliguri area of West Bengal. It is located in South Bharat Nagar, near Ananda Marg School. Few of his clients include:

Speaking about his school, Mr. Chakraborty stated that his experience at both his schools has been life changing and provided with all round development and education. After passing out from his school, he still keeps in touch and in also a member of the alumni council ‘Praktan Vidyarthi Sangha’. He is a regular attendee of events organised by the council and always makes it a point to spend some time there in spite of his busy schedule.

Lastly before ending the interview, he urged all Vidya Bharati students to make it a point, to take up some time and gather information before choosing their career paths. They should follow their instincts and talents and settle for a course of action well before passing out from their school.
