Shri Avijit Saha, an alumnus of Sarada Shishu Tirtha, Chilaroy Bhawan, is a successful businessman, running his own business in Cooch Behar, West Bengal. Recently he shared his story with Vidya Bharati alumni portal team, whose brief account has been given below.
 

Mr. Saha had studied at Sarada Shishu Tirtha, Chilaroy Bhawan, till 4th standard and passed out in the year 1996. After this, he attended Jenkins School to complete his 12th in the year 2005. He did his graduation in BA from Cooch Behar College in Bengali, in the year 2008. 

 

After completing his graduation, he started his Business in Electronics. He owns his own shop of electrical equipment and had started the venture in the year 2010 named ‘Shanti Electronics’.

 

Mr. Saha is a resident of Cooch Behar and stays there with his parents. His father is a retired businessman as well.

From a young age he has been an avid social worker and had organised several blood donation camps. He is also an environment protection enthusiast and has been involved with plantation drives to promote greenery in his locality. 

 

While speaking with Vidya Bharati Purv Chatra team, Mr. Saha reminisced about his fond experiences during the years when he was with Vidya Bharati. He stated that the lessons that he had learnt during those formative years from his teachers had helped him to shape his personality. He had learnt the significance of hard work, discipline and social responsibility, which he tries to incorporate into his daily life.

 

He also pointed out that the education system of Vidya Bharati is much more conducive towards overall development of the students in comparison to other private schools. Mr. Saha took the opportunity to thank his teachers for their patience and guidance as well.
