Vidya Bharati alumni and engineer from Norway Shri Amit Raj, shares his journey

Shri Amit Raj, an alumnus of Babulal Nandlal Bohra Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Barharwa and presently located in Norway. He shared his journey via a brief interview, whose extract is given below.

Mr. Amit has done his schooling from Babulal Nandlal Bohra Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Barharwa  up to class 10th and then did his 12th from Doranda College, Ranchi in the year 2008. He completed his B. Tech degree from Sastra University, Tamil Nadu in the year 2011. 

In the same year he joined as a Design Engineer in Cyprus Semi Conductor Ltd. His company sponsored his higher education and Mr. Amit did his M.Tech with a work integrated degree from BITS Pilani from the year 2013 to 2015. He rejoined his former company after completion of his degree and worked there till 2018.

He shifted to Intel after that where he worked as a SoC Design Engineer till Dec, 2019. In Jan 2020, he got the opportunity to join Nordic Semiconductor as a Senior R & D Engineer and shifted to Norway.
 

Mr. Amit originally hails from Barharwa in Jharkhand, but stays in Norway with his wife and kids. His parents still stay in Barharwa. 

Alongside having a successful career Mr. Amit has been associated with several NGO’s. He was involved with Hope Foundation from 2011 to 2013 and MAD Organization for a year when he was in India. He used to donate towards the organisations over a long period of time.
 

While talking about his life’s philosophies, Mr. Amit stated that he is a firm believer of hard work and self discipline as these two virtues had no replacement in his life. He also took the opportunity to thank his teachers and school for installing the importance of such virtues as a part of his personality. He feels that whatever he has achieved in his life was largely due to the top notch education that he had received during his school days.
