For every country, conservation of national culture is immensely important because it defines evolutionary identity of each and every citizen. Culture helps us to understand our ancestral values and makes us unique from other parts of the world. Traditional culture of a community forms the thread that keeps the people and nation united.

The Indian culture varies like its vast geography. People speak in different languages, dress differently, follow different religions, eat different food but ultimately are of the same temperament. India is one of the world's oldest civilizations and its culture is often labeled as an amalgamation of various cultures, influenced and shaped by a history that is several thousand years old. In today’s fast paced global economy, it has become more important to preserve the rich heritage passed down by our ancestors, before it's lost forever.

Vidya Bharati schools have always given great priority towards teaching its students the importance of Indian culture and alumnus Uditendu Verma of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Puranpur Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh has taken upon himself to continue the legacy.

CEO of Volen Projects India Private Limited, Uditendu Verma grew up in a household which has been closely associated with Indian arts and culture through his father, Acharya Devendra Dev, who is a renowned poet. His childhood inclination soon turned into a lifelong passion.

Uditendu is the state treasurer of ‘Sanskar Bharti’, an extraorganization which works for the promotion of Indian art and culture. Sanskar Bharti  is engaged with various sections of the society with the aim of awakening patriotism and encouraging the development of various arts. It provides a national platform that helps novice artists from across the country to showcase their talents. Uditendu firmly believes that one of the methods of preserving the rich heritage of Indian culture is through encouraging the budding artists from different fields of our country.

Apart from being associated with Sanskar Bharti, Uditendu also holds the position of  National General Secretary of ‘Divyarth Foundation’ which works in the fields of skill development, women empowerment, education and much more. He is also involved with different social organizations promoting Indian literature.

Uditendu holds the view that everyone born has an inherent debt to the entire humanity which can be repaid through compassion towards others.
