Purv Chatra Parichay Sammelan at second oldest school of Vidya Bharati - Rampur

On 26th January 2020, on the occasion of Indian Republic Day, Vidya Bharati ‘Purv Chatra Parichay Sammelan’ was held at Shri Motiram Sarsawati Shihu Mandir, Phoota Mahal, Rampur in Meerut Pranta from 10 am onward. It is the second oldest school of Vidya Bharati.

The event was organised by Purv Chatra Parishad, Rampur. Approximately 350 alumni and students from the Rampur area participated  in the event.

The programme started with hoisting of the Indian flag along with singing of the national anthem, which was followed by a cultural event performed by Vidya Bharati students. Later on a ceremonial procession consisting of alumni, students and guests weaved through major thoroughfares of Rampur starting and ending in the school itself.

During the event around 50 distinguished alumni were honoured, including Mr. M.K. Arora (Businessman), who is the oldest alumni of 1952-53 batch.

During the conclusion of the event  all alumni were thanked for their contribution. Also a special thanks was given to alumni and journalist, Shri Gaurav Jain for taking media coverage of the event.
